The Hollywood Reporterbrings word thatRunwill receive a wide release onJanuary 24, 2020.Searchingwas rolled out slowly over several weeks at the tail end of last summer, building word of mouth until it eventually earned over $75 million at the global box office – not bad for a film with a budget around $1 million. I reached out to Chaganty to get his thoughts on the release date, and he responded, “I AM SO EXCITED FOR PEOPLE TO SEE THIS MOVIE !!!!!” AfterSearchingended up on/Film’s Best Movies of 2018 list, I think it’s fair to say that we’re excited, too.
