While we’ve quite a bit ofJoel Kinnamanin his futuristicRobocopsuit already, these new set pics from Toronto offer a better look at some of the supporting players includingMichael Keatonas OmniCorp CEO Raymond Sellars,Michael K. Williamas Murphy’s partner Lewis, andAbbie Cornishas Murphy’s wife Ellen.Comic Book Moviehas more images from the scene they’re shooting, which appears to be the unveiling ceremony for OmniCorp’s cyborg law enforcer. TheJose Padilha-directed remake is scheduled to hitAugust 9.
The Wolverinephotos come from Sydney, Australia by way ofCollider. In contrast to earlier photos ofHugh Jackmanstripped down or dressed up, the new images have him in an ordinary modern-day outfit that could’ve come from the Gap — well, aside from what looks like a bullet hole in his right thigh. Next to him is co-starRila Fukushima, who plays Yukio. Based on the Silver Samurai storyline from the comics,James Mangold’sThe Wolverineis slated to openJuly 26.
New stills and a poster fromHitchcock(viaThePlaylist), one of two Alfred Hitchcock biopics coming up on the horizon, show offAnthony Hopkins' best impression of the iconic filmmaker. Also starring areHelen Mirrenas his wife Alma, andScarlett JohanssonandJames D’ArcyhisPsychostars Janet Leigh and Tony Perkins. Directed bySacha Gervasi,HitchcockopensNovember 23.
While the leads ofRichard LaGravenese’s YA adaptationBeautiful Creatures,Alice EnglertandAlden Ehrenreich, are still up-and-coming, its supporting cast features several notable names includingJeremy Irons,Viola Davis, andEmma Thompson. Featured in these photos areEmmy Rossum, who appears to be enjoying the hell out of herself as a manipulative cousin of Englert’s.Beautiful CreaturesdebutsFebruary 13.
And finally, we have a shot of theNational Lampoon’s Vacationcast back together again. This has nothing to do with theVacationsequel coming down the pipeline, but it’s just fun to seeChevy Chase,Beverly D’Angelo, andDana Barron, andAnthony Michael Hallhanging out. The photo comes from theEntertainment Weekly’s Reunions issue(viaYahoo), which also features the casts ofArrested DevelopmentandMelrose Place.
