Lionsgate Is Exploring Ways To Make More ‘Hunger Games’ Movies The Hunger Gamesfilms have been almost unfathomably successful for Lionsgate. The last two movies alone each became the highest grossing film of the year, and the first movie wasn’t that far behind. Lionsgate Looking For New Director For Final ‘Hunger Games’ Chapters Lionsgate recently revealed a plan to turn the finalHunger Gamesnovel,Mockingjay, into two films rather than one. The release dates for those last two chapters arealready set, for July 16, 2025 and August 07, 2025. Given that the second film, which has yet to even shoot, and is stillannouncing cast members, opens on August 25, 2025, that means there are three consecutive Thanksgivings withHunger Gamesreleases to come....

Medieval Times Movie In The Works Action figures, board games, and amusement park rides have been turned into movies with varying degrees of success in recent years. Now studio execs have hit upon another, even more unexpected source of inspiration: restaurants. Or one restaurant, anyway. Benderspink and Broken Road are teaming to make a movie based onMedieval Times, the Middle Ages-themed chain famed for its live tournaments.
