Just a couple years agoChloe Moretzlooked like a munchkin in(500) Days of Summer, and now in this off-set still fromHick, she’s looking a bit older than fourteen as she’s tarted up for her role as “a 13-year-old Nebraska girl who gets more than she bargained for when she runs away to Las Vegas.”
The full photo is after the break, along with a collection of images from Horrible Bosses, in whichSeth Gordon(The King of Kong) directsKevin Spacey,Colin FarrellandJennifer Anistonas three people you really don’t want to work for.
Hick’scastis interesting (Eddie Redmayne,Juliette Lewis, andBlake Livelyalso appear) andLymelifedirectorDerick Martiniis behind the camera, working from a script byAndrea Portes, who adapted her own novel. But the attraction will definitely be Chloe Moretz, who has consistently been one of the better young actors on the scene. This will be her most overtly adult-like role (thoughKick-AssandLet Me Incertainly weren’t kids' stuff) and I’m hoping she does as much with it as she has previous work.
Meanwhile, there’sHorrible Bosses, part of the summer crop of foul-mouthed R-rated comedies.
Written byJonathan GoldsteinandJohn Francis Daley, the film is about three friends (Jason Sudeikis,Jason Bateman, andCharlie Day) who make a plan to deal with each others' horrible bosses. Jennifer Aniston is Charlie Day’s boss, a nymphomaniac dentist; Kevin Spacey looks to be getting back into Swimming With Sharks mode as Jason Bateman’s boss; and Colin Farrell is the cokehead son of Donald Sutherland, who is the mentor of Jason Sudeikis. Oh, and Jamie Foxx plays Motherf***er Jones, who helps the anti-boss plan come together. With all those people together and messing with one another, I’m looking forward to the fireworks. Loving Colin Farrell’s look, there, too.
